Girl Scouts and M2 Media Group Enter Into Agreement for Product Sales Program
M2 Awarded License to Provide Magazine Sales to Girl Scouts Nationwide
Stamford, Conn., February 8, 2013 — M2 Media Group, a leading magazine subscription agency, today announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Girl Scouts of the USA, the largest organization for girls in the world, to provide an innovative new product sales program opportunity to Girl Scout councils nationwide.
Through the relationship, M2 will partner with local Girl Scout councils to provide Girl Scout members the opportunity to sell magazines and digital subscriptions, leveraging its ecommerce platform and technology capabilities. The licensing agreement and the opportunity to work with local councils further expand M2’s network of high caliber partners and high quality sources of subscriptions for publishers.
In support of the business, M2 has brought on Mike Donnarumma and Karen Phillips, two seasoned executives with 35 years’ experience in publishing and fundraising, including positions at QSP and Reader’s Digest.
