This Privacy Policy applies to your use of websites, interactive services, email and marketing programs, and product listings and related services provided by our family of companies including Blue Dolphin, and M2 Interactive (collectively, "M2 Media," "we" or "us"), including those that include an authorized link or reference to this policy (collectively, the "Services").
By using any of our Services, you agree that this Online Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service Agreement govern your use of our Services and any dispute concerning the Services. Please take a few minutes to read them before using or registering to access our Services and product offerings.

A Special Note about Children
Persons under the age of 16 are not eligible for any offers presented by M2 Media Group, LLC. Our website is not directed to or intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from any person under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected information from any person who is under the age of 16, we shall promptly delete such information.
Registration
At times, we request and collect information from you and about you on our order, registration and subscription forms, either directly from you or from third party sources to whom you provided the information as part of your purchase/inquiry. This information includes name, email, address, shipping and billing information, and information related to your computer, such as IP address. This information is used for order fulfillment, customer service and to understand your areas of interest. We send this information to publishers of the content you request.
Tracking Technology
If you have been offered our services through one of our marketing partners or affiliates (see “Use of Information” section below), such as retailers who offer magazine subscriptions or have paid listings (our listings) on their sites (i.e., sponsored sites), the information you enter through their site may be seen or inadvertently shared with that partner or affiliate. To do so, we may use a technology called clear GIFs, which automatically and securely transfer the information you enter. In the future, we may also use other similar technologies in our offers for the same purpose. If we do so, we will modify our privacy policy accordingly. See the “Notification of Changes” section below.
Separately, we may use web analytics tools to enhance user experience by optimizing the efficiency, design, and quality of the Platforms. Our analytics tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyse information related to user behavioral metrics on the Platforms, such as mouse movements, clicks, user inputs, scrolling, access time, visit duration, pages viewed, IP address (including approximate location), operating system, and page reloading. These tools provide insight into what works and what does not work for users of the Platforms and they allow us to, for example, identify and repair technical errors such as broken links that impair the Platforms’ functionality. The web analytics tools also help us reconstruct the user experience to better understand, for example, where users may be encountering frustration or impediments to using the Platforms.
Log Files
We log IP addresses (a unique number assigned to every computer on the Internet) in order to improve security, analyze trends and administer our offers. We may track your movement within our sites, the pages from which you were referred, access times and browser types.
Use of Information
Contractual Relationships
We provide your information to, and make it available to, our third-party service vendors with whom we have contractual relationships for the purpose of (1) servicing and processing of your magazine subscriptions; (2) marketing to you, including targeted advertising, and (3) providing you an interactive customer experience such as processing rebates, points, awards, and other online research and white paper content services. These vendors also provide various services on our behalf such as customer service and web hosting. These vendors are not allowed to sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information and are not permitted to use your information for any secondary purpose, such as for their own commercial purposes.
Publishers
When you request a magazine or other content of interest, we necessarily forward your contact and address information to the applicable content publisher—i.e., magazine provider—to determine your eligibility for fulfillment. The publishers of the content you have chosen to receive may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies. When requesting a magazine or other content, we encourage you to read the privacy statement of the publisher for that magazine.
Retailers/Special Offers
When you choose to accept a special retail offer, we forward your contact information to the applicable retailer and/or sponsor for fulfillment of your request. The retailers and/or sponsors for the offers you have chosen to receive may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Third Party Marketing Affiliates
If you accept one of our offers or respond to our targeted or paid listings made available on third party sites (i.e,. by linking through one of our partners or affiliates), your information also may be shared with the partner or affiliate which originated the link to our site. These partners and affiliates may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of our partners and affiliates.
Exceptional Circumstances
Please note that if M2 Media Group, or any of its lines of business is sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, the relevant customer database of M2 Media Group could, in whole or in part, be sold as part of that transaction. We also may have to release personally identifying information when it is necessary to comply with judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants or orders.

M2 Media takes measures that are designed to protect the personal information you enter by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
Special Offers and Choice/Opt-Out
After you complete our registration and subscription forms, your answers and contact information are sent to the publisher of the content you requested so they can determine your eligibility and fulfill your requested content. These publishers may also contact you with special offers. From time to time, we may present you with specially selected offers from M2 Media or one of our partners. Out of respect for your privacy, you can forfeit any of these opportunities by sending an email to privacy@m2mediagroup.com requesting to opt-out of future offers.
Site and Service Updates
We communicate with you to provide requested services, desired content and updates, and on issues relating to your subscriptions. We also send site and subscription service updates. You may not be able to unsubscribe from these important announcements, which contain important information about your subscriptions and M2 Media Group, LLC. You may, however, always opt out at any time from marketing emails.
Correcting/Updating Personal Information

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our site by identifying them as changes to our previous privacy policy. Our website is owned and operated in the United States. If you are accessing this site from a location outside of the United States, you acknowledge and agree that your information may be collected, stored and processed in the United States.

M2 Magazines, LLC (“M2 Magazines”) collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household (“personal information”). In the preceding 12 months, M2 Magazines has not sold consumer personal information to third parties and will not sell such information, but has disclosed consumer personal information to third parties for a business purpose. In particular, M2 Magazines has disclosed the above categories of consumer personal information, which have been obtained directly or indirectly from you, to Service Providers and magazine publishers such as email, cloud, and e-commerce software providers, freight and shipping companies, fulfillment houses, and other third-party service providers, for a business purpose. M2 Magazines does not sell the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age without affirmative authorization.
Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Disclosed, or Sold
You have the right to request that M2 Magazines disclose to you: (1) the categories of your personal information collected; (2) the categories of sources from which your personal information was collected; (3) the categories of your personal information that were sold or disclosed for a business purpose, if any; (4) the categories of third parties to whom your personal information was sold, if any; (5) the business or commercial purpose for collecting and/or selling your personal information; and (6) the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information. You also have the right to request to receive the specific pieces of your personal information collected by M2 Magazines to the extent such information is maintained by, and available to, M2 Magazines. In order to verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information you must verify your identity by matching at least two pieces of Personal Information provided by you during your purchase transaction with Personal Information maintained by either the website operator/retailer or us, that we have determined to be reliable.
However, if your request involves receiving specific pieces of Personal Information (rather than categories of Personal Information), we must first verify your identity by matching at least three pieces of Personal Information provided by you with Personal Information maintained by either the website operator/retailer or us. Then, you must provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose Personal Information is the subject of the request.
We cannot respond to your request to provide any personal information if we cannot verify your identity using the information provided.
Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information
You have the right to request that M2 Magazines delete personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.

In order to process your request, you must first verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information. If your request relates to non-sensitive information, we can verify your identity by matching at least two data points provided by you with two data points already maintained by us or the third-party retailer with whom we contract with to provide services to you.
However, if your request involves sensitive personal information, we must first verify your identity by matching at least three pieces of Personal Information provided by you with Personal Information maintained by us or the third party retailer that we have determined to be reliable. Then, you must provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose Personal Information is the subject of the request.
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.
Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Privacy Rights
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means that, unless permitted by the CCPA, your exercise of these rights will not result in M2 Magazines: (1) denying you goods or services; (2) charging you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties; (3) providing you a different level or quality of goods or services; or (4) suggesting that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services. However, please note that we cannot process orders and deliver services if we have to delete, or we cannot collect, certain of your information.
Designating an Authorized Agent
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request to opt-out of the sale of personal information on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent written permission to do so. He or she must provide their name, email address, phone number, and written permission from you that includes your contact information. We will contact you using the information provided and verify your identity directly with us. We cannot respond to your request to provide additional disclosures or delete any personal information if we cannot verify your identity and the authorized agent’s authority to make the request on your behalf. Written permission is not required if the agent provides proof of power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465, or you are submitting the request on behalf of your minor child.
